Jakarta, (20/05) – The national property developer, PT Intiland Development Tbk continues developing its mixed-use project, Aeropolis. The project is set to create synergy with Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. Intiland has been focusing on developing areas in close proximity to the airport, which need residential, office, retail and cargo facilities.
Following the success of the launch of residential, office, retail, and warehouse/cargo facilities, the company adds to its portfolio of residential product Onyx Residence apartment. Of the three apartment towers, the company has introduced two—Amethyst and Beryl, each of which having eight floors.
Director of Aeropolis project, Didik Riyanto revealed the level of need for vertical residential facilities in the area around the airport is quite high. This can be seen from the high number of people purchasing apartment products the company previously introduced in Aeropolis. The consumer target is people whose places of activities are at or close to the airport, thus, in need of a residence close to their place of work.
“In many countries, airport area has turned into a center of business. Various business activities are present in the area. In parallel with the development of the airport itself, the need for residential facilities continues to significantly arise. Aeropolis is presented to meet this demand and to accommodate the dynamic lifestyle of the people around the airport,” Didik explained.
Amethyst Tower is developed as a studio apartment tower. There are three types of compact apartment units with areas of 16.6 square meters, 16.9 square meters, and the biggest, 17.5 square meters. Amethyst Tower has 376 apartment units and nine retail units located on the ground floor. Amethyst apartment units are sold with the opening price of Rp179 million.
The second tower, Beryl Tower offers bigger apartment units—one-bedroom apartment unit with an area of 21 square meters, and two-bedroom apartment unit with an area of 40.6 square meters. The company sells the apartment units for Rp 300.9 million and Rp 624 million for the one-bedroom and two-bedroom types, respectively. The tower has 207 apartment units and 14 retail units.
The development Onyx Residence is done in stages and by looking the changes in the market. “We plan to launch the third tower after the marketing of Amethyst is concluded,” he explained.
Aeropolis is one of Intiland’s big-scale and long-term projects. The project is projected to contribute significantly to the company’s performance. Since launching the project until late March of 2014, the company has sold around 4,000 units comprising office space, cargo area, hotel and retail space.
Throughout last year, Intiland sold 1,635 residential units and commercial facilities at Aeropolis. Aeropolis contributed to the company’s marketing sales with Rp 369 billion or 15 percent of the company’s total sales in 2014.
To show its appreciation to the customers, Aeropolis has launched the program “Aeropolis Bagi-bagi Hadiah” (Aeropolis Prize Extravaganza). In the program customers purchasing Aeropolis products in the period between 15 April and 5 June 2015 have the chance to win a car and other prizes. The prize drawing is planned for 6 June 2015.
