This trust reflects Intiland and Citi’s common values on standards and facilities that convenient office space must offer to increase employees’ productivity.

According to Batara, South Quarter meets all of the criteria and requirements of formidable office space for Citi in Indonesia. The decision to choose South Quarter was made based on various assessments and analyses including taking into account many factors such as location, building quality, supporting facilities and environmental aspects.
Environmentally Friendly
South Quarter Integrated Office Center is built on a 7.2 hectare land in the most strategic location alongside TB Simatupang corridor, South Jakarta. It has a direct toll access to Soekarno Hatta International Airport and mass rapid transportation (MRT) line. Within the area, Intiland has developed various facilities including office towers, residences and modern retails. This area is rapidly developing as a favorite for national and multinational companies across industrial sectors.
Intiland has finished the first phase of development on 4.4 hectare of land. Three 20 stories office towers with area over 123,000 square meters have been fully constructed and now they are now in the operational preparation phase.
South Quarter has a supporting retail facility in a dome-like structure with an area of 12,500 square meters. The place offers culinary services and is ideal for conducting business interaction.
Hendro said that the development of South Quarter upheld high standards of design and sustainable development principles in order to create an inspiring working environment. “In Intiland, we are committed to always build a high rise building with added values to the city development. The building will not only last but also fits the green and aesthetic standards for the next 100 years,” said Hendro.
Realizing this design concept, Intiland once again collaborated Tom Wright from WS Atkins, the architect of Dubai’s Burj Al Arab, in the development of South Quarter. Wright previously designed Regatta, one of the company’s projects located in Pantai Mutiara, North Jakarta.
South Quarter is designed to meet the requirement for energy efficient building. Office buildings require a significant use of energy for air condition. As the solution, the placement of South Quarter’s building layout considers the sun light orientation and the louvre application.
This layout allows minimum heat penetration into the building while maximizing natural lighting, making South Quarter energy efficient, saving electricity costs which derive from air conditioners. From Aesthetic point of view, the louvre application creates a unique façade, inspired by Indonesian traditional rattan basket.
Other features include application of waste management and reusing bore water and rainwater for plant watering, toilet flushing and other necessities. South Quarter also has water pool and conduct river normalization to control and anticipate rainwater overflow.
South Quarter also provides dedicated parking space for bicycles. The parking space can cater up to 300 bicycles with shower facilities. This is the realization of our commitment and supports to biking communities, which is in line with sustainable development principles applied in South Quarter.
Today South Quarter has become one of the prime office locations for many multinational companies. Besides Citi, numerous leading global companies have chosen South Quarter as their office centers in Indonesia. These companies are players in various industries such as financial, oil and gas and manufacturing industry.
