Intiland Develops Graha Natura Phase II
Surabaya (10/02) – The national property developer PT Intiland Development Tbk. continues to strengthen its business lines with new development. At the beginning of 2016, the company is set to develop the phase II of its residential project, Graha Natura in Surabaya.
The development of phase II boasts mixed-use concept, occupying an area of 38.2 hectare in West Surabaya. The company initiated the development with the launch of Edenia, a new cluster to be constructed on a 5.3 hectare area.
David Hosea, director of PT Intiland Grande, a subsidiary of Intiland, said the launch of the new cluster was to anticipate the public high demand for a residential estate in the area. It’s a move to capitalize on the rapid growth in West Surabaya, currently the fastest growing region in Surabaya.
“Graha Natura has since its launch in 2011 continued to offer innovative residential concept, by means of creating healthy, green and technology-friendly environment. This concept has won the heart of the public, and we see the consumers’ interest remains high,” David said.
Following the company’s success in marketing the home and SOHO units in phase I, the company will soon introduce Edenia cluster, which will have 200 housing units. Edenia cluster offers four types of two-story houses with different floor areas, namely Violet, Carnation, Dahlia and Lotus.
David explained that the types of houses in Edenia cluster would have an area starting from 90 square meters to 144 square meters, and floor area from 74 square meters to 149 square meters. The company will market the units with the price starting at Rp 1.5 billion per unit.
“We offer a range of alternatives, each with its own added values and with reasonable price range. The units are constructed with the concept of rumah tumbuh, meaning the occupants can expand the building area to suit their needs as long as it complies with the area development guideline,” he added.
He further said the units in Edenia cluster followed a modern and tropical design, thus ensuring comfort. The design makes use of optimum air circulation and natural lighting.
The development of Edenia cluster is planned for one phase that requires around two years to complete. The development is set to start in February 2016 and finish in March 2018.
Graha Natura is a residential estate in Surabaya occupying a total area of 86 hectares. Designed with the principles of sustainable development in mind, the residential estate is an integrated project highlighting the excellence in health, technology and green environment.
The masterplan and the design of the houses adopt tropical residence that follows the norms in natural preservation drive. The application of sustainable development principles is in accordance with three approaching methods, namely Health, Technology and Nature.
The concept is realized through the construction of integrated sewage system infrastructures all across the area. The application of this technology makes it possible for the houses to not have septic tank, which translates to healthier environment.
As a mixed-use residential area, Graha Natura comes complete with various facilities for the comfort of the residents. Aside from allocating a wide area for green space, Graha Natura also boasts such facilities as a club house, a lake for recreation, parks, a playground, an outdoor gym, a two-kilometer jogging track, and a commercial area.
To further create healthy and green environment, the company has partnered with Seameo Biotrop (South East Asia Regional Center for Biology Tropical) and Purwodadi Botanical Garden. With this collaboration, Seameo Biotrop and Purwodadi Botanical Garden will provide consultative and technical support concerning the conservation efforts and biodiversity development in Graha Natura.
