Pacitan (26/07) – Property developer PT Intiland Development Tbk (Intiland; DILD), through its subsidiary PT Dinamika Kencana Mandiri, has conducted a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program by handing over several land plots in the Puri Permata Indah Housing Complex, Pacitan, East Java, to the Pacitan Regency Government (Pemkab Pacitan). This activity follows the company’s previous handover of infrastructure, facilities, and utilities (PSU) in the housing complex to Pemkab Pacitan in 2022.
The symbolic handover ceremony of the CSR land plots was conducted by Theresia Rustandi, Corporate Director of Intiland, to the Regent of Pacitan, Indrata Nur Bayuaji, at the Puri Permata Indah housing complex on Friday (26/7). The handover of the land plots, totaling approximately 17,255 m², was attended by several officials and leaders of Pemkab Pacitan as well as the company’s management team.
The handover of several plots of land manifests Intiland’s CSR commitment to support the duties and functions of the Pacitan Regency Government, to be utilized for the welfare of the Pacitan community. Both parties are optimistic and agree to optimally utilize these lands, providing added value to the region and the local community.
“We appreciate and thank the Pacitan Regency Government for the collaboration that has been established so far. We believe that this CSR land handover will provide significant benefits for the local residents as well as the wider community in Pacitan Regency,” said Theresia further.
Theresia revealed that Intiland has maintained excellent cooperation and synergy with the Pacitan Regency Government. The company has also received support and facilitation in various aspects, including the processes of permitting, development, and management of the Puri Permata Indah residential area.
The handover process of the CSR land also reflects the good synergy between private developers and the local government. One of the shared goals is to provide the best service to the community and to create a comfortable, safe, and well-organized living environment.
In 2022, Intiland also completed the handover of Public Social Facilities (PSU) in the Puri Permata Indah residential area. The handed-over social facilities (fasos) and public facilities (fasum) include public roads, parks, and a volleyball court, covering a total area of 16,768 m², and comprising 18 street lighting poles.
The handover of social facilities and public facilities is a duty and a form of responsibility for the Company by the applicable regulations. The Company hopes that these facilities will be well-maintained and effectively utilized, contributing to the improved quality of life for the local community.
“The collaboration between the government and the private sector is crucial in realizing sustainable development. Providing public facilities and infrastructure in every residential area will undoubtedly bring significant benefits to the residents and the surrounding environment,” said Theresia.
Social Responsibility
The handover of CSR and PSU land coincides with the completion of the development phase of the Puri Permata Indah residential area. This handover is also part of Intiland’s efforts to support sustainable development programs and corporate social responsibility.
“Intiland is always committed to continuously contributing to the development of high-quality infrastructure and supporting the improvement of community welfare in various regions,” said Theresia.
Puri Permata Indah is a residential area developed by Intiland since 2007. The development of the residential area on four hectares of land is part of Intiland’s CSR program in collaboration with the Pacitan Regency Government.
The development of Puri Permata Indah began out of concern for the local community and as a risk mitigation measure against potential disasters. The chosen location, approximately five kilometers from the city center and situated in a hilly area, offers a more comfortable and relatively safer environment from disaster risks.
In October 2017, the Company entered into a partnership with several local developers for the development of Phase 2 of the Puri Permata Indah. This development covers an area of one hectare and is designated for providing subsidized housing, aiming to meet the community’s need for more affordable, quality homes.
“This collaboration aims to build synergy between national and local developers for the development of subsidized housing with the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP),” said Theresia.
The Company has also engaged local contractors in the construction of homes at Puri Permata Indah. This step is intended to enhance the quality, expertise, and skills of local contractors to meet national standards.
“This housing development also supports the government’s Million Houses Program, which seeks to address the national housing backlog,” added Theresia.
The construction of Puri Permata Indah is divided into two phases. The first phase includes a three-hectare area with a total of 104 units, all of which are complete, and the second phase covers one hectare.
