Surabaya (21/07) – Property developer PT Intiland Development Tbk (Intiland; DILD) continues come up with new innovations for property development in Surabaya, East Java. The Company is preparing a number of growth strategies by developing new innovative property projects.
Harto Laksono, Marketing Director of PT Intiland Grande, the Company’s subsidiary engaged in property development in Surabaya, said that now is the best time to buy property, because it has the potential to deliver the greatest benefits to the buyers.
“Right now is the perfect momentum for customers, because they will get the best price. As a developer, we have to be more creative and innovative to meet the expectations and needs of the market, in terms of products and services,” he mentioned.
The Company saw that amidst the challenging market conditions, a number of consumers are taking advantage of the momentum by buying property at this time. Sales of residential products, especially for landed houses, have proven to be relatively active. In fact, the last two months have seen an upward trend.
“We feel that the property market has begun to become active again and has shown an upward trend in the last two months, especially from the end user consumer segment. Many consumers began to ask for new products or come directly to the show units. On average, young families and millennials dominate,” said Harto Laksono.
The Company currently has two residential projects under development in Surabaya. Located in West Surabaya, they are the Graha Famili housing complex, covering an area of 280 hectares, and Graha Natura, with a development area of 86 hectares.
Unlike Graha Famili, which targets the upper and premium market segments, Graha Natura housing project is more geared towards the upper-middle segment, with its more affordable prices. Graha Natura has a lot of house clusters with a more compact area, so that it becomes a favorite among some people in Surabaya, especially young professionals and millennials.
“Last year, we launched the Acacia cluster and it has been sold up to seventy percent. This cluster offers two-story compact houses that are not too big but are actually high in demand from young families,” said Harto Laksono.
