Surabaya (12/07) – The national property developer, PT Intiland Development Tbk., has successfully achieved encouraging sales in Surabaya residential property market. Following the company’s success in marketing its condominiums, Sumatra36 and Praxis, Intiland reported another uplifting sales performance of its condominium, Graha Golf during the project’s private launch. Graha Golf condominium is located in Graha Famili exclusive residential complex in Surabaya.
During the launch, the company introduced and marketed one condominium tower, comprising 79 condo units of several types. All units were sold out. This success shows that despite the pressure of the property market, consumers remain enthusiastic in residential products that have added values either in functions or in their investment value.
Intiland’s vice president and chief operating officer, Sinarto Dharmawan said the success was also the consequence of West Surabaya area’s developing into one of the favorite residential areas in the city. Strategic location, coupled with good facilities and moderately low population density, has been the main consideration for many people in choosing to live in the area.
“Of course there are specific reasons why consumers like this product. The location is highly strategic and the quality is top notch. That is why we’ve always been optimistic Graha Golf condominium will be the choice of the people. And we have proven it true. We sold only one tower and for that one tower, we managed to sell all of the units in one day,” Sinarto said after the grand launch of Graha Golf Condominium in Surabaya on Friday (July 10, 2015).
He added the second tower was to be launched this year but the company would first consider the market condition and absorption capacity. The company is optimistic the sales of the second tower will also be successful, as many customers have complained of not having been able to purchase a unit in the first tower.
Graha Golf Condominium is Intiland’s latest development project in Surabaya. The condominium is part of the Graha Golf development project located in Graha Famili prestigious residential area.
Occupying an area of 2.8 hectares, Graha Golf is being developed in phases, with the project comprising five condominium towers, two towers of serviced apartment, town house area and the supporting retail facilities.
In the first phase of the development, Intiland is to build two 20-floor condominium towers. Each tower has 79 condominium units and the units come in two types: a three-bedroom unit and a four-bedroom unit with each unit having floor area from 122 to 138 square meters. The condominium units are offered with the opening price of IDR 3.9 billion.
The first phase of the development occupies an area of 7,200 square meters with the building area of 50,167 square meters. The condominium will have two basement floors for parking area that can accommodate 285 cars.
Aside from providing spacious units, each floor will have only four condominium units; thus, ensuring high level of privacy. “Different from mixed-use development concept, residential function should not be too packed so that the residents feel comfortable, using their unit as a place to rest or to live. Low-density level is a luxury for the residents.
This is one of the added values of living in Graha Golf condominium if we compare it with other condos,” he explained.
At present, in order to get a residential unit with golf view in Graha Famili, customers need to purchase a house with Golf View-type which fetches quite a high price. By living in Graha Golf condominium, customers can get the golf view and exquisite environment with more reasonable price than that of a Golf View-type house in Graha Famili.
